To be quite honest, nothing of much interest happened after that. Days flowed into weeks, and weeks flowed into months. Eventually, the blizzards stopped; and drip-by-drip the winter snow gave way to spring. Soon spring heated into the summer months, and before long, the green summer foliage crumpled into the dead leaves of autumn.
For the three friends, life returned to 'normality'; Mr. Chair went back to his library to be alone with his thoughts, Piggeh found time again to chase after the unsuspecting residents of the castle, and Jennifer, having no reason to stay in the garden any longer, chose to return to the barracks with Piggeh soon after the adoption. Out of the three, it was Jennifer that didn't seem to be re-adjusting as well as her male companions. While Piggeh remained his usual self, Jennifer became more introverted than she had been before, barely speaking unless spoken to, and spending most of her time hiding away in the darkness of the barracks.
Hyperthymesia-Deception (23)“It’s strange when I try to recall my memories. Everyone else has no problem going back to seven, six years old. I think it’s a sort of amnesia that takes place when young. Our minds aren’t developed enough to pay much attention back then, after all. I get that feeling most days, for I suppose I have not lived as long as everyone else. Sometimes I wonder what caused me to open my eyes so late in life. But believe me when I say that when I finally came to my senses and broke out of that amnesiac state, I was already ten. And things were fine for a time. Stephano and Gonzales were always getting into trouble under the gaze of their father and his assistant. Boys were boys. But by the time I was fourteen, things changed.”Hyperthymesia-Deception (23) by HeavenLightYukiko
Something was wrong, something was very wrong. No matter where he looked or places he traveled, nothing he found lead him onto the trail of his master. He knew he would find him, he knew that the castle grounds could be swept in less

Already on edge from the stress that came with lookout duty, Mr. Chair nearly hit the roof when Piggeh unexpectedly opened the door behind him. A quick flinch allowed him a second to realize there was no danger present, and the subsequent rush of adrenaline motivated him to follow his friend a few steps down the hall. Piggeh, looking pale and completely drained, kicked over a crate and lazily dropped himself onto it. Letting out a long, weary sigh, he ran his fingers through his hair and slouched against the wall; Mr. Chair caught up to him and stood beside the crate, a look of anxious anticipation on his face.
"Is everything alright?" He asked.
Piggeh turned his gaze upward. "I am never going through that again." He groaned. "I'd rather be in a room with five Kaernks than do that again!"
"At least you made it through." Mr. Chair said, turning an ear towards the sound of the newborn's cries. "How is she?"
"You mean Jen? She's fine, though she's probably in wors
Am I a True Bro? - Part 6The three stayed silently in the darkened room for almost a full minute, before the chill finally went away. Kailee was frozen in place, wondering what happened to Jennifer. She really wanted to get out of the room, or at least turn on her lantern, because the darkness was beginning to suffocate her.Am I a True Bro? - Part 6 by AlishaTano
She brought her knees close, and whispered, "Can we...please get out of here?"
"Hang on just a second..." Pewdie whispered back, "We need took out first...to see if Jennifer got rid of the Bro."
"We could end up walking into a pair of claws if we made a mad dash for it..." Stephano added, beginning to rise out of his crouch. Kailee didn't speak again, and just watched as the statue gradually made his way to the door, glancing out.
"It's clear...you can turn on your lanterns." Stephano reported, and Pewdie gratefully did so. Kailee was beginning to tremble in the darkness, so the light from the Bro Master's lantern was a blessing. She let go of her knees and managed to twist the dial on her
